Post-Remediation Verification
Verify the work before reconstruction begins
Verification compares completed work against the scope that was authorized — and states plainly whether the criteria were met.
What verification confirms
A comparison against defined criteria
Without a protocol or written project criteria, there is no standard to verify against — so the scope review comes first.
- The authorized remediation scope was completed as written.
- Accessible work areas and containment are visibly clean.
- Moisture conditions meet the project criteria.
- Any sampling criteria defined for the project have been met.
The process
- Review the remediation scope or protocol that was authorized.
- Inspect accessible work areas and containment conditions.
- Document visible cleanliness and remaining moisture concerns.
- Collect verification samples only when project criteria require them.
- Issue a written pass, conditional finding, or recommendation for additional action.
Scope limits
Verification findings are issued within the stated limits of the inspection and the accessible areas at the time of the visit. Origin does not perform the remediation it verifies.
