Independence from remediation, a clear written scope, laboratory analysis by an accredited lab, moisture investigation (not just air samples), and a report that explains findings in plain language. Ask whether the inspector also sells cleanup work.
Yes. Origin Environmental performs inspection and testing only. We do not perform remediation or abatement, so recommendations are based on findings, not on selling repair work.
Many inspections can be scheduled within the week, often sooner. Call (858) 833-0033 for current availability.
FAQ
Cost and scope
Residential mold testing packages start at $495 and are priced before the visit. Larger homes, additional samples, commercial buildings and multi-unit properties are quoted by scope.
A visual evaluation, moisture readings, thermal screening where useful, sampling selected to answer a defined question, laboratory analysis and a written report with findings and recommendations.
Most residential inspections take one to three hours on-site depending on size, access and the number of samples. Lab results typically follow within a few business days, with rush options available.

Yes. We do not perform remediation ourselves, but if you need trusted help we can refer you to vetted remediation contractors certified by the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification). After their work, we can independently verify the results.

Yes, where it is planned in advance. Pre-renovation asbestos and lead sampling can be combined with a mold or moisture investigation.
