About
About Origin Environmental
A San Diego environmental and building-diagnostics company organized around evidence: what the site shows, what the readings support, and what the next step should be.
Origin
Formed across trade boundaries
Most building problems cross disciplines. Water damage, plumbing failures, envelope details, ventilation and microbial growth are usually treated as separate specialties — which is how sources get missed.
Origin Environmental was formed to work across those boundaries: investigate the building as a system, document the conditions carefully, and keep the diagnostic work separate from any corrective work that follows.
That separation is deliberate. Investigation and remediation are scoped and authorized independently, so the findings can stand on their own.
How we work
Evidence, then recommendation
- The investigation begins with the history and pattern — not a predetermined test.
- Moisture readings and thermal patterns are interpreted together with building conditions.
- Sampling is used to answer a defined question, not to create fear.
- Written findings explain what was observed, what is probable, what is limited, and what comes next.
- Diagnostics and corrective work are separately scoped and authorized.
